Fine ceramics made using extrusion molding by a pilot.

Pilot, a comprehensive writing instrument manufacturer, can produce fine holes and multi-porous through-holes with an outer diameter of φ0.2 to φ8, an inner diameter of φ0.005 and a length of approximately 120mm.

Our company specializes in the manufacturing of ceramics with fine through-holes, utilizing the extrusion molding technology developed through the production of mechanical pencil leads. We focus on fine shapes and high precision, capable of producing outer and inner diameter tolerances with a dimensional accuracy of ±5%. If you require the characteristics of ceramics, such as wear resistance, chemical resistance, heat resistance, insulation, and chemical stability, in production equipment, tools, or product design, and are considering fine or micro-hole shapes or long materials, please feel free to consult with us. Additionally, we will be exhibiting at the "11th High-Performance Ceramics Exhibition [Osaka] (CERAMIC JAPAN)" held at Intex Osaka from May 13, 2026 (Wednesday) <Hall 4, Booth: K6-25>. We invite you to visit our booth and see our products in person.

Solving the flow rate stability issue with microporous ceramic pipes.

Minimum aperture φ0.02mm; high-precision fine hole ceramics can be produced with a length of 100mm.

Pilot Corporation's ceramics can provide high dimensional accuracy for fine pores and deep holes of less than 1mm, which are difficult to manufacture through machining. Thanks to the expertise in mixing, extrusion molding, and firing developed in the production of mechanical pencil leads, we can achieve dense and homogeneous molding, resulting in minimal dimensional variation within the same lot. Additionally, we can produce single holes, multiple holes, and irregularly shaped holes. By utilizing high-precision fine holes, we enable precise microflow control. Our ceramics, which have excellent corrosion resistance, can also be used with corrosive liquids and gases. The materials used are high-purity alumina, zirconia, and aluminum nitride. 【Features】 ■ Capable of manufacturing fine ceramics with a minimum outer diameter of φ0.3mm and a minimum hole diameter of φ0.02mm ■ For inner diameters of less than φ1mm, we can produce long products with an aspect ratio of over 200 (maximum length of 120mm) ■ Free thickness can be achieved for deep holes, from thin to thick walls ■ High precision with a dimensional tolerance of ±5% *For more details, please refer to the materials. Feel free to contact us with any inquiries.
